The PFA has been in contact with the US Olympic Organization regarding Olympic recognition. Being recognized is a top-down procedure within the Olympic community starting with the creation of an International Sports Federation (IF). The Pole Fitness Association is studying the requirements and procedures for establishing an IF for Pole Fitness. Ours will be called the "International Pole Sports Federation" in keeping with Olympic naming conventions and will be a non-profit organization hosted in the United States. Our IF web site will be www.PoleSports.org. We would like you to take part in this quest by getting as many people as possible to sign the petition.
